| Summary, etc | Este trabajo se enmarca dentro de un proyecto de investigación mayor que los autores se encuentran realizando sobre el cine del cómico mexicano Cantinflas. Este proyecto tiene como hipótesis: a) que en un sentido general, el humor constituye un discurso de gran vitalidad cultural que vehicula determinados universos simbólicos cristalizando imaginarios sociales; b) puntualmente, el cine de Cantinflas -creación de Mario Moreno Reyes- muestra una estrecha relación con su contexto. En este trabajo analizaremos particularmente la película Un día con el diablo, en donde esto se revela como la cimentación de universos simbólicos vinculados a la política imperialista de Estados Unidos y a la posición de México durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial.Para realizar dicha investigación nos valdremos de la semiótica porque el cine constituye una construcción textual y, por tanto, discursiva. Siguiendo esto, avanzaremos en un análisis textual que recupere un horizonte material e histórico donde los procesos de generación de sentido son determinados, controlados y seleccionados por el productor del mensaje. |
